Getting Started

How do I create an account?

  1. Download PixDrobe from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android)
  2. Open the app and tap to sign in
  3. Choose your sign-in method:
    • iOS: Sign in with Apple
    • Android: Sign in with Google
  4. Accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
  5. Complete the quick tutorial to learn the basics

What devices are supported?

  • iOS: iPhone running iOS 13.0 or later (iPad not supported)
  • Android: Devices running Android 7.0 (API level 24) or higher

Is PixDrobe free to use?

PixDrobe offers both free and paid plans:

  • Free Plan: Includes starter credits to try the app
  • Subscription Plans: Unlimited or additional credits for regular users

Account & Authentication

I forgot my password. What should I do?

PixDrobe uses secure OAuth authentication (Sign in with Apple or Google), so you don’t need to remember a separate password. Simply sign in using the same method you originally used (Apple or Google).

Can I use both Apple and Google sign-in?

Each account is tied to one authentication method. We recommend using the same sign-in method consistently to access your account.

How do I delete my account?

  1. Open the PixDrobe app
  2. Go to Settings (tap the Settings icon in the bottom navigation)
  3. Scroll down and tap Delete Account
  4. Confirm your decision
  5. Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted

Note: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.


Using PixDrobe Features

How do I add my body photos?

  1. Go to your Profile tab
  2. Tap on an empty photo slot (pink bordered box)
  3. Choose your method:
    • Take Photo: Use your camera to take a new photo
    • Upload from Gallery: Select an existing photo
  4. For best results, stand against a plain wall with good lighting

Tips for best results:

  • Stand against a plain, solid-colored wall
  • Use good lighting (natural daylight works best)
  • Wear form-fitting clothes to show your body shape
  • Face the camera directly
  • Full-body photos work best

How does virtual try-on work?

  1. Add your photo: Upload or take a photo of yourself
  2. Select garment type: Choose Upper Body, Lower Body, or Full Outfit
  3. Take/upload garment photo: Capture or select the clothing item you want to try
  4. Process: Our AI generates a realistic combination (takes 30-60 seconds)
  5. View result: See yourself wearing the selected clothing item

Each try-on uses 1 credit from your account.

What garment types can I try on?

  • Upper Body: Shirts, t-shirts, blouses, jackets, hoodies
  • Lower Body: Pants, jeans, skirts, shorts
  • Full Outfit: Dresses, jumpsuits, full outfits

How long does processing take?

Most virtual try-ons are processed in 30-60 seconds. The app will notify you when your result is ready.

Why is the app asking for camera permissions?

Camera Permission: PixDrobe uses your camera to take outfit photos so you can create try-on experiences. For example, you can snap a garment photo and see how it looks on you.

Photo Library Permission: PixDrobe needs photo library access so you can select existing photos to add to your try-ons instead of taking new ones.

How to enable permissions:

  1. Go to your device Settings
  2. Find and tap PixDrobe
  3. Tap Permissions
  4. Enable Camera and Photos

Credits & Subscriptions

What are credits?

Credits are used to process virtual try-on experiences. Each try-on costs 1 credit. You can view your available credits at the top of your Profile screen.

How do I get more credits?

You can get more credits by:

  1. Upgrading to a subscription plan (includes credits or unlimited try-ons)
  2. Purchasing credit packs directly in the app
  3. Tap the Upgrade or Get Credits button in the Profile tab

What subscription plans are available?

PixDrobe offers flexible subscription options:

  • Free Plan: Limited credits to try the app
  • Premium Plans: Additional credits or unlimited try-ons per month

To view current pricing and plans:

  1. Go to the Settings or Profile tab
  2. Tap Upgrade Your Plan or Subscribe
  3. Browse available subscription options

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through the App Store or Google Play:

On iPhone:

  1. Open the Settings app
  2. Tap your name at the top
  3. Tap Subscriptions
  4. Select PixDrobe
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription

On Android:

  1. Open the Google Play Store app
  2. Tap your profile icon
  3. Tap Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions
  4. Select PixDrobe
  5. Tap Cancel subscription

Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

What is your refund policy?

Refunds are handled according to Apple’s App Store and Google Play policies. If you have a billing issue or problem with a purchase:

  1. Contact us at contact@pixdrobe.com with your order details
  2. Or request a refund directly through the App Store or Google Play

Why do I see “Subscription Required”?

You’ll see this message when you’ve run out of credits. To continue using try-on features:

  • Free users: Upgrade to a paid plan or purchase credits
  • Subscription users: Your credits may have been used up - purchase additional credits or upgrade your plan

Troubleshooting

The app won’t upload my photos

Try these solutions:

  1. Check permissions: Make sure PixDrobe has access to your camera and photo library (Settings > PixDrobe > Permissions)
  2. Check file size: Very large photos may take longer to upload or fail
  3. Check internet connection: Photo upload requires a stable internet connection
  4. Restart the app: Close and reopen PixDrobe
  5. Update the app: Make sure you have the latest version from the App Store or Google Play

Camera isn’t working

  1. Check camera permission: Go to Settings > PixDrobe > Enable Camera
  2. Check if camera is being used: Close other apps that might be using the camera
  3. Restart your device: Sometimes a simple restart fixes camera issues
  4. Try gallery instead: You can upload photos from your gallery as an alternative

Try-on feature isn’t loading or takes too long

  1. Check internet connection: Virtual try-on requires a stable internet connection
  2. Wait a bit longer: Processing can take up to 60 seconds
  3. Try again: Close the result screen and submit a new try-on request
  4. Check image quality: Make sure your photos are clear and well-lit
  5. Contact support: If the problem persists, email us at contact@pixdrobe.com

App crashes or freezes

  1. Update the app: Check the App Store or Google Play for updates
  2. Restart your device: Close all apps and restart
  3. Clear app cache: Delete and reinstall the app (your account data is saved)
  4. Check device storage: Low storage can cause performance issues
  5. Check system requirements: Ensure your device meets minimum requirements (iOS 13.0+ or Android 7.0+)

Results don’t look realistic

For best results:

  • Use clear, well-lit photos of yourself
  • Stand against a plain background
  • Wear form-fitting clothes in your body photo
  • Use clear photos of the garment you want to try on
  • Make sure both photos are taken from the front

I can’t sign in

  1. Check internet connection
  2. Try the sign-in method you used originally (Apple or Google)
  3. Update the app to the latest version
  4. Contact support if you still can’t access your account

Privacy & Security

How is my data used?

We take your privacy seriously. Your photos are:

  • Used only to process virtual try-on requests
  • Stored securely on our servers
  • Never shared with third parties without your consent
  • Deleted when you delete your account

Is my payment information secure?

Yes. All payments are processed securely through Apple’s App Store or Google Play. PixDrobe never stores your credit card information.

Can I download or export my data?

Yes. Contact us at contact@pixdrobe.com to request a copy of your data.

How do I delete my data?

Deleting your account will permanently remove all your data, including:

  • Photos you’ve uploaded
  • Try-on results
  • Account information

To delete your account:

  1. Go to Settings in the app
  2. Tap Delete Account
  3. Confirm deletion
